"Out of Time" is a series of paintings depicting our struggle with time and margin in our life. Everyone is busy, yet everyone is busily longing for a time of rest and rejuvenation. Even when the option of rest is before us, the frenetic motion of the urgent gets between us. And so we go through life seeing a doorway of rest that is always elusive in the midst of activity until it is finally our last flowers that lay on our coffin. Will we find rest after that? The choices we make today with our time will determine our tomorrow.
